Applications are open for the first group of participants who will take part in educational seminars organized by the Foundation BFPE for a Responsible Society within the regional project Youth 4 Inclusion, Equality and Trust.

The regional United Nations initiative ‘Youth 4 Inclusion, Equality & Trust’ empowers young people to engage in constructive narratives, strengthen intercultural dialogue, inclusion, gender equality and create mutual understanding and trust in the Western Balkans. The two-year initiative aims at enhancing the role of youth in promoting increased comprehension and respect for diversity.

Implementation of “Youth 4 Inclusion, Equality & Trust” is led by UNDP Serbia in collaboration with UNFPA, UNESCO and UN Women, and financially supported by the UN Secretary-General’s Peacebuilding Fund.

If you are a young person aged 18 to 30, and you come from a political party, a civil society organization or you are active in your community, this is a project that will help you improve your knowledge and skills in the areas of social cohesion and culture of dialogue.

If you want to become part of a new generation of decision-makers and leaders in your community who work to better understand each other, encourage dialogue, respect differences and work to ensure that members from all parts of our society are included in all important decision-making processes, by participating in this project you will further improve your capabilities.

The goal of the educational seminars is to acquire new skills and provide support to young people through a series of interactive workshops and lectures in order to encourage and promote constructive narratives, build mutual trust, contribute to dialogue between different cultures, and encourage cultural diversity and gender equality.

The first group of participants will have the opportunity to attend three seminars over a period of 6 months (February-July 2023), which will be dedicated to topics in the field of social cohesion and intercultural dialogue, the fight against hate speech and the promotion of social cohesion. Participants will have the opportunity to work with prominent trainers and experts in these fields, as well as attend lectures by prominent lecturers from Serbia and the region.

The participants will also have the opportunity to go through the mentoring process in areas that they will define within the theme of the project, and they will be supported by experienced members of political parties, civil society organizations and community leaders.
