We have presented the report “Civil Society in European Integration of Western Balkans” in Belgrade!
The report „Civil Society in European Integration of Western Balkans“ was presented today in Belgrade, in cooperation with our partners – Polish Institute for International Affairs (PISM), Group 484 and Belgrade Centre for Security Policy.
Our guests – representative of the Negotiating Team (Ivana Ponjavić), European Movement in Serbia (Maja Bobić) and different initiatives – National Convent for Serbia Accession to the EU (Nataša Dragojlović), Let us Talk About Negotiations (Danijela Božović from the Belgrade Open School), PrEUgovor (Jasna Filipović from the Centre for Applied European Studies) – were primarily interested:
- can one label the cooperation between CSOs and the state as successful;
- why do misunderstandings in relation to secrecy/openness of negotiations happen;
- whether civil society possesses the necessary capacities or not, and in which fields (chapters);
- why the “Montenegrian model” is not suitable for Serbia.
Presentation of the research results will continue in Brussels, at an event organized in the European Policy Centre on 19 November.
This was the first open event held in our new space, at our new address – Diplomatska kolonija 22.
