The Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence is continuing the implementation of the “Public Dialogue on Sustainable Use of Energy in South East Europe” program, in cooperation with the German Organization for International Cooperation (GIZ) and its Open Regional Fund for SEE-Energy Efficiency (ORF EE).
On Monday, November 19, at 10 am, together with the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, we are organizing a meeting of the Sixth Parliamentary Forum for Energy Policy with the theme “Energy Transition in Serbia”. In the first part, the meeting will focus on energy efficiency in schools and preschool institutions; how much is done in this field and what activities are ahead of us.
In the second part, we will discuss the obligations of Serbia towards the Energy Community, existing regulations and renewable energy sources following the example of Germany. Finally, we will talk about what barriers exist and what is necessary to overcome them in Serbia, and hear examples of how energy transition can be adapted to our conditions.
