Include Diaspora in the Reform Process

On Monday, 14 April, in the premises of Tanjug International Press Centre, Knez Mihajlova st. 6/2, Government of Serbia Office for Cooperation with Civil Society will be organizing a conference entitled “Include Diaspora in the Reform Process”.

Conference was convened in order to provide answers to following questions:

  • How can citizens of Serbia who are highly educated and living abroad be included in the ongoing reform processes?
  • Which are the concrete mechanisms to achieve this?
  • Which are the principal obstacles?
  • Which actors should be leading the process?

Invited guests and speakers include:

  • Dr Slavka Drašković, Director of the Serbian Government Office for the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region,
  • Sonja Licht, President of the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence,
  • Milomir Mandić, Advisor to the Director of the Serbian Government Office for the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region,
  • Milovan Jovanović, a Serbian businessman living and working in Lyon,
  • Vladan Atanasijević, President of the Managing Board of the National Alliance for Local Economic Development (NALED), and
  • Zoran Vujović, Executive Director of the Association of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises.
