We’re excited to announce that the first of two regional youth exchange events will take place in Ruma, Serbia, from October 10 to 12, 2025.
The event will gather 25 young artists and community leaders from across the region to use art, culture and journalism to promote inclusion, diversity, and trust. Over three days, participants will connect, exchange ideas, and begin shaping their initiatives with the support of mentors and peers.
The youth exchange programme is a collaboration between, UNDP SerbiaUNDP & UNFPA Albania, and the Foundation BFPE for a Responsible Society within the regional joint UN Youth 4 Inclusion, Equality & Trust initiative, supported by the UN Secretary-General’s Peacebuilding Fund.
The Ruma seminar marks the start of a creative journey that continues with a Creative Boot Camp in Albania in November, followed by a mentorship phase where selected participants will develop and implement their own projects fostering inclusion, equality, and trust in their local communities.
