On Thursday, February 29, 2024, the first session of Working Group 15 of the National Convention of the European Union for Energy will be held this year. In the new composition, the members of Working Group 15 will have the opportunity to discuss future plans, priorities and intensification of the work of the Working Group in 2024.
Also, Aleksandar Kovačević, an expert in the field of energy from the Oxford Institute for Energy Studies, will present the initiative for the inclusion of the Western Balkans in the European Union Emissions Trading System (EU ETS) to the members of the Working Group.
The BFPE Foundation coordinates the work of Working Group 15 of the EU National Convention, which deals with energy, and for many years has been insisting on efforts to raise awareness and knowledge about energy efficiency, renewable energy sources, green economy, ensuring citizen participation and encouraging much better cooperation of all actors who are involved in the creation and implementation of a more responsible and comprehensive energy policy.
