Workshops were organized in Smederevo on March 22 and in Nis on March 23 as part of the project “China in our backyard: Understanding China’s authoritarian influence”, implemented by the Foundation BFPE with the support of the International Republican Institute.
The aim of the workshops was for the representatives of the civil sector in these local areas to learn more about the development of cooperation between Serbia and China, the consequences that this cooperation can lead to, and ways to respond to some of the challenges arising from cooperation between Serbia and China.
Apart from Smederevo and Nis, workshops will soon be organized in Zrenjanin and Bor.
