The BFPE Foundation for Responsible Society, as part of the Association of Schools of Political Studies of the Council of Europe, expresses deep condolences for the earthquake that occurred in Morocco.

The Association of Schools of Political Studies (ASPS) was established in July 2008 by directors of political studies schools of the Council of Europe in order to enhance their role in program management, strengthen ties between schools, and advance further activities.

The first school was founded in Moscow in 1992. Since then, other schools have been established in Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgaria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Kosovo, Moldova, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Morocco, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Tunisia, Turkey, and Ukraine.

Our thoughts are with each of our colleagues and all those affected by this unfortunate event in Morocco. We understand the pain that such tragedies can cause, especially when it comes to the loss of human lives.

We extend our heartfelt condolences for the human losses and are confident in the strength and resilience of the Moroccan community.”
