An Introductory Seminar of the informal Green Parliamentary Group (GPG) will be held on Thursday, January 21 and Friday, January 22. The seminar will be held at the Belgrade hotel Zira.
At the first GPG event in 2021, the Minister of Environmental Protection, Ms. Irena Vujovic, will present the plans and objectives of her ministry in 2021 to the MPs, members of the GPG. In addition, GPG members will have the opportunity to get mere familiar with the legislative framework in the areas of air protection and climate change, as well as with the negotiating position of the Republic of Serbia for Chapter 27 in the accession negotiations with the EU. Furthermore, MPs will be introduced to the work of the GPG so far, and the process of strategic planning of the work of the GPG in 2021 will begin.
