The first meeting of the Advisory Group of the joint program of the European Union and the Council of Europe ROMACTED II “Promoting good governance and empowering Roma at the local level” in Serbia was held on November 24, 2022 in Belgrade at the Hotel Metropol.
The meeting will be an opportunity to present to relevant partners at the local, national and international level the achieved results and the course of implementation of the program in the first year in 14 partner municipalities in Serbia, as well as to discuss plans for upcoming activities and possible synergies. In addition, at the meeting, the Situational Analysis Assessment of the capacity to provide support to returnees with a focus on Roma and Roma women in 14 local governments in Serbia will be presented, as well as the draft Analysis on the mechanism of support for the social inclusion of Roma and Roma women with special reference to the practice of allocating funds for mere inclusions from local budgets.
