The Foundation BFPE for a Responsible Society is pleased to announce the release of its new research publication titled “Analyzing China’s Influence in Serbia and Its Implications for Transatlantic and European Security”, authored by Stefan Vladisavljev, Damir Dizdarević, and Mirjana Đorđević.
This publication offers a comprehensive insight into the multifaceted relationship between Serbia and China, exploring three key dimensions: economic, political, and security cooperation. Special attention is given to the impact of this strategic partnership on Serbia’s European integration process, as well as the broader security challenges it poses to the transatlantic community.
By examining growing Chinese investments, trade relations, diplomatic support in international forums, and increasingly close military and digital cooperation, the authors highlight potential risks concerning institutional transparency, rule of law, and Serbia’s geopolitical orientation.
The aim of this publication is to contribute to a deeper understanding of the complex global dynamics Serbia is navigating and to encourage broader debate on the sustainability of the country’s current foreign policy direction in the context of European and transatlantic integration.
