During the first panel of the local debate, the project “From My Town to My Country”, its goal and activities carried out so far will be presented. During the first panel, the representative of the local self-government should present the activities carried out by the local self-government in order to lay the foundations for the long-term development of the City of Čačak, including obstacles and development potentials. The representative of the local partner organization should look at the role of civil society in providing the basic conditions for the long-term development of the local community.

The second panel of the local debate will be dedicated to discussing the socio-economic aspects of the development of the city of Čačak. The aim of this panel is to identify the basic, real, development potentials, but also the biggest challenges such as depopulation of the local environment, objective environmental challenges, the relationship between economic development and preservation of public goods, the relationship between the urban part of the local community and rural areas.

In the third panel, after the introductory speech of a couple of speakers on the subject of gender equality and social cohesion as a precondition for local development. Participants would then be able to ask questions and comment.
