Presentation of Dokufest and Slobodna zona festivals: trust through innovation

Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence invites you to to the presentation of outstanding individuals from Kosovo and Serbia in the field of film festivals.

We are organizing the presentation of Dokufest and Slobodna zona – two film festivals famous not only in the field of culture but also in social activism. Our guests will be Eroll Bilibani, Head of DocuLab from Prizren and Rajko Petrović, Director of Slobodna zona from Belgrade. The discussion will be moderated by Anamari Repić from the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence.

The discussion will take place in the Parobrod Culture Center (Kapetan Mišina 6a) on Tuesday, 10 March 2020 from 18-20 hours. Simultaneous translation into English will be provided.

This event would take part within our project Changing Minds: Trust through Innovation which we implement for three years with our partners D4D from Prishtina, NGO Aktiv from Mitrovica and Transconflict from Belgrade and is supported by the EU. The overall objective of the project is to facilitate the establishment of amicable and stable relations between Serbia and Kosovo by creating links of cooperation transcending the realm of politics. We want to rebuild mutual trust and understanding between Serbian and Kosovar societies by initiating cooperation among various professional groups from Serbia and Kosovo.

The project contains many activities which are implemented with the aim to a) build trust and initiate cooperation among various groups that are not directly related to political activities but rather identify the joint interest of professional nature; and b) showcase successful individuals to respective publics to improve image, breakdown dangerous and harmful prejudices and stereotypes and increase interaction.
