2nd Hackathon “Connecting Minds” in Belgrade!

After highly successful first hackathon, held in May this year, over which 4 demo applications were created, we decided to continue developing new innovative solutions.

Do you want to show the importance of digital technologies in resolving problems of contemporary society?

If you are a developer, designer or activist who wants to try to create an innovative software solution in the form of a web or mobile application within 24 hours, sign up!

The aim of the hackathon is to create, in 24 hours, socially responsible, innovative solutions that will contribute to improving communication between experts and institutions from Serbia and Kosovo.

We invite 20 young creators from Serbia and Kosovo to apply and be part of the hackathon, dedicated to positive changes through technological solutions. “Connecting Minds” brings together young developers, designers and activists around the same goal to create 5 software solutions available for everyone in 24 hours to facilitate the overcoming of communication barriers between communities (IT, health, entrepreneurship, justice, tourism).

The teams will be composed of 2 programmers, 1 designer and 1 activist. Getting to know new people is what makes hackathon complete and in that spirit teams will be formed before we start.

Hackathon is being organized by the Belgrade Fund for Political Excellence in cooperation with the Institute “Democracy for Development” (D4D) from Prishtina, NGO Aktiv from Mitrovica and Transconflict from Belgrade; while being supported by the European Union.
