In Sarajevo, from August 18 to 20, the fifth event was held as part of the Open Regional Fund for South-Eastern Europe program – Energy, Transport and Climate and its components concerning the development of the capacities of the Green Parliamentary Groups from the Western Balkans on the Green Agenda with a focus on energy, traffic and climate protection. The component is jointly implemented by Deutsche Geselleschaft für internationale Entwicklung (GIZ) GmbH and the Network of Political Studies Schools of the Council of Europe from the Western Balkans.

On the first day of the meeting, the Green parliamentarians discussed the process of decarbonization in the Western Balkans and its impact on the energy sector in the region. On the second day, the focus was on the topics of climate and gender, that is, on the impact of climate change and the energy transition on men and women, as well as the topic of sustainable traffic in urban areas. Serbia was represented by MPs Tomislav Janković and Dobrica Veselinović.
