The last seminar of the 20th cycle of the annual seminar took place from September 22 to 24, 2023, in Šabac. Our participants had the opportunity to discuss the future of democracy.
Topics covered included artificial intelligence and democracy, the European elections of 2024 and what the Western Balkans can expect, the integrity of representative institutions in the democratization process, the role of youth in building a democratic culture, changes in policies during the energy revolution, new governance systems, data utilization, and smart cities. In addition, participants took part in workshops on leadership and debate.
The new generation of young leaders will guide the state and society toward European integration in an educated, democratic, and responsible manner.
Furthermore, 13 participants have been selected to attend the World Forum for Democracy in Strasbourg and meet colleagues from around the world.
